About For Fitness Sake
Challenge yourself to move 50km or 100km in 10 days!
For Fitness Sake is a new virtual event where you’ll challenge yourself to run, walk, swim or cycle 50km or 100km in just 10 days, from 1st – 10th March 2017.
- Achieve your fitness goals with the support of hundreds of Australians taking on the challenge to get fit in March!
- Log your daily kilometres on your personal page and track your progress toward your target. Use your smartphone, Fitbit or any pedometer to measure your kilometres.
- You can walk, run, swim, cycle or choose a combination of exercises throughout the 10 day program. You don’t have to work out every day - you can go at your own pace, 10km a day or entire target KMs in one weekend!
For Fitness Sake supports House with No Steps and its early intervention services to support children aged 0 – 8 years old with a broad range of disabilities and developmental delays across NSW, VIC, TAS, QLD, and the ACT. All funds raised will go towards early childhood intervention services as they work with families and children to provide services which improve the child's development and well-being. This includes speech pathology, special education, physiotherapy and occupational therapy.
It all starts on 1st March 2017... but places are limited!
